AGPARTS.NET dates it’s foundations in the Agriculture market back many generations to the development of early planting and cultivating tools in the 15th century. At first the tools were hammered out in a blacksmith forge for local farmers and the workers who planted and cultivated the crops.
As word spread the next generations produces a more varied offering of products such as door hinges, stockade stanchions, weapons of war i.e. spearheads and guiolltines. One of the most notable projects the firm was know for was it’s production of the famed candelabara de hunde, created for Frederick De Saliste of Swiss Royal Family in 1630s.
Some of the family moved to America late in the 17th century and developed and sold a line of specialized products for the tobacco farmers who thrived in the Southeastern part of the continent. Throughout this span of time many of the original products continued to be produced.
During the civil war new items were added. Longblades and ceremonial swords were produced for Gentile officers on both sides of the conflict. At that point, the business grew to over 100 forges and included some of the earliest industrial processes to produce it’s products.
